Our bootcamp equips you with the practical skills to defend against digital threats and launch a career in cybersecurity. Master Python for automating security tasks, and progress to hands-on training in ethical hacking, penetration testing, and network defense. You’ll gain the expertise to identify, assess, and mitigate cyber risks while building the tools to protect critical systems and data.
Learn the fundamentals of cybersecurity, compliance frameworks and cybercrime. Build core Python skills with loops, functions and object-oriented programming. Develop secure reusable code and work with files and data structures.
Capstone: Investment Calculator, Text Processor, Object-Oriented App
Use Kali Linux and Bash scripting to automate tasks. Build basic web pages and explore encryption, hashing and PKI principles to understand online security foundations.

If you’re new to cybersecurity, certifications can be a great way to show employers you’ve got the skills. This bootcamp is aligned with the CompTIA Security+, Network+, and CySA+ exams, some of the most widely respected credentials in the industry. That means as you learn, you’re also preparing for certifications that can validate your knowledge, help you stand out, and open doors to real job opportunities.

You’ll follow a university-reviewed curriculum with video lessons and guided projects. Apply your learning through practical exercises, get feedback as you progress, and in select courses, join live lectures from faculty for added insight.
If you're interested in protecting systems, solving problems, and staying a step ahead of threats, this bootcamp is a great fit. No prior experience is required. You’ll start with the basics and build your skills step by step, with plenty of support along the way.
Yes, you will be issued a certificate of completion once you have met all the requirements for your bootcamp completion, and you do not have any outstanding work. This is a digital copy which will be accessible from your student dashboard to view and download.
If you study part-time, aim for 5-10 hours per week to finish in twelve months. Full-time learners can complete it in around six months with 35-40 hours per week. You can adjust your pace if needed.
You’ll need a computer with a stable internet connection. We’ll let you know if any specific tools or software are required before you start.
